Maxwell Clemens founded Synora Capital to apply a risk-aware, cycle-conscious approach to public market investing. He makes the firm's investment decisions.

Before founding Synora, he spent two and a half years in wealth management in the United States. He has managed his own capital since 2019.

That experience shaped his investment philosophy. Clemens focuses on where a company sits in its own cycle and how risk is priced at each stage. Through independent research he developed a set of proprietary indicators, combining fundamental analysis with a structured approach to managing risk.

He holds a B.S. in Entrepreneurship and Business Management from Babson College and studied political science at the London School of Economics. At Babson he received academic awards in accounting and statistics, along with eight Babson student awards.

At Synora Capital, the goal is straightforward: protect capital first and allocate it where the risk-reward profile is, in our assessment, asymmetric.
